Scott Gould Receives Promotion and Expanded Responsibilities

NPI announced that Scott Gould, representing the fourth generation of the Gould family’s retail lineage, has been promoted to Vice President of Operations and Business Development. In this expanded role, Scott will continue overseeing key operational initiatives, technology integration, and enhancements to NPI’s “Evolution of Distribution” platform.

The Gould family’s retail journey began in the early 1900s, when Mitch’s grandfather built a manufacturing and consumer-goods business in Brooklyn, New York. Mitch’s father expanded the family footprint into early distribution and retail development.

Mitch entered the retail industry at 23 years old, quickly establishing a reputation for building relationships with buyers and identifying trends ahead of the market. His career spans major national retailers and iconic consumer brands, including Igloo, Rubbermaid, Sunbeam, Miracle-Gro, and celebrity product lines for Steven Seagal, Hulk Hogan, Ronnie Coleman, Chuck Liddell, and Wayne Gretzky.

In 2007, Mitch founded NPI and established the Evolution of Distribution platform — a turnkey system that streamlines FDA compliance, logistics, sales, marketing, and retail placement for U.S. market entry.

Today, Mitch remains fully at the helm of the company, guiding strategy, overseeing client success, and personally transferring decades of industry knowledge to emerging leaders within NPI.
