GoVA Foundation and U.S. Century Bank Collaborate to Enhance Financial Literacy for Military Families in Broward County

The GoVA Foundation has announced a strategic partnership with U.S. Century Bank to offer free digital financial education to low- and moderate-income military families in Broward County, Florida. This initiative, supported by a Community Development grant from U.S. Century Bank, will utilize GoVA's platform, The Edge, to deliver interactive courses and financial tools designed to foster financial independence among military families.

George Earhart, Executive Director of GoVA Foundation, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the platform's user-focused design aimed at creating lasting positive impacts. Martha Guerra-Kattou of U.S. Century Bank emphasized the alignment of this collaboration with the bank's mission to support community and military families' financial empowerment.

With over 6,600 membership requests nationwide, the demand for financial education among military families is evident. The partnership will provide 10 qualified households in Southern Florida with 12 months of unlimited access to The Edge's resources, addressing the urgent need for financial literacy tools tailored to the military community.

This collaboration underscores U.S. Century Bank's commitment to the military community in Southern Florida and both organizations' dedication to expanding access to financial education.
